Australian Gas and Combustion Consultants Pty Ltd is a division of James Giles Plumbing Pty Ltd with a team based in Queensland with industry professionals providing gas approvals, risk assessments, and consulting services to Australian and International gas companies, including suppliers, manufactures and installers in LPG, Natural Gases, CSG and Bio-Gas industries. 

Justin Giles @ Australian Gas & Combustion Consultants is an Authorised Type B Appliance Approval Body under section 733(2) of the Queensland Petroleum and Gas (Production and Safety) Act 2004 to approve the installation or use of a Type B Gas Devices/Appliances in Queensland. Justin can approve the following gas devices for installation and use in the state of Queensland:

All Type B Gas devices must be approved by an authorised Type B approval authority before installation and use in Queensland. Unless the appliances is a type A device, these devices/appliances are massed produced and must come with an approval badge on the gas unit, e.g., cook tops, fryers and room heaters. Justin Giles is an authorised person under section 628(3) of the Petroleum and Gas (Production and Safety) Act 2004 to carry out a risk analysis in relation to the use of fuel gas at an industrial installation without the prescribed odour under section 628(2) of the Act. 

These risk analysis must be performed and approved by an authorised person before any un-odourised fuel gas can be supplied to these industrial installation. 

Australian Gas and Combustion Consultants also perform risk assessments and HAZOP's of gas appliances and gas systems. We also perform 3rd party compliance and safety audits.
